Swingarm SNAFU

Recommended Posts

Just relating my observations while servicing my swingarm and linkages for the first time. Seems Suzuki shorted me a seal cover/washer on the cushion lever and jacked an inboard swingarm seal out of place when installing the pivot bolt.:cry: Had to make a replacement washer but was able to reuse the seal.:cry:

I found the same thing. But also the seals can get pushed out when you pack the bearings with grease then push the bushings in when the bearings are full of grease. Grease does not compress so it moves the seals.
