auto store and try 3m ashesive removal in a red and white can works pretty good on stuborn decals...you can try a hair dryer to see if that will loosen the glue.

Using a powerwasher is an extremely good idea.

Also, you can take a heat gun or hair dryer and heat them up making it easier to peel off.

For a recent changeout of shroud graphics I put the whole shroud in the clothes dryer on a sweater rack. Left them in for about 20 minutes and they got good and hot. The graphics came off in one piece with ease.

I dont know if I would use a pocket tourch on the tank graphics.

That sounds dangerous!!

Even holding the piece under a running tap with hot water while pulling the stickers off will soften up the glue enough. I've used that to get the graphics off of OEM sportbike plastic.

Chris.

My pressure washer took them right off two bikes in a jiffy. Took about 98% of the glue too, so only a little cleanup was in order before installing the new stuff.

Garrett Poucher and Skyler Howes of Garrett Offroad Racing are headed to Dakar!  These US privateers are headed there for their first times but Skyler is fresh off a victory at last week's Baja Rally, won the Sonora Rally in March and this team placed third in the Baja 1000.

They have a fundraising link set up and could use your help.
I raced with Garrett at Baja Rally last year and then both of them at Sonora and was honored to pit with them as well.  They're both super guys and work their assess off.  I think they both have good chances of not only finishing the 11 days of Dakar but placing well.
They're doing some rally training events this Sat, Oct 20 in Santa Clarita, CA and then another Oct 28th in St. George Utah so if you've ever considered learning rally raid navigation, this is your chance!  It's a lot of fun too.  More info on that at the link.
