how does the crf250r do in tight woods/trails

no i don't want an x because i ride mx 90% of the time just want to know if the r can handle tight stuff without stalling all the time and hard to start when hot like me current blue bike

CRF250R handles great in the woods and the engine is outstanding . All i do is woods ride mine and I'm very happy with overall performance.

The only problem is gearing ..1st is a touch tall for very tight technical stuff and 5th is too low for dirt road cruising. But the tight ratios on the nice single trails give you a gear for almost any situation. ? KLX

i bought a crf250r for 80% woods, and 20% track....I needed to hear that!!

Mine works awesome for both. Put a 52 rear sprocket and a hydro-clutch and it makes it much easier in the tight stuff.

I bought an R and never looked back. The weight difference between the R and X is very noticeable. As stated previously 1st gear is a little tall for the tight stuff but with minor mods the R is great. ?
