'05 450MXC Suspension Setting Help

Recommended Posts

Could anyone who has a 450 here in Northern California tell me where you are setting your sag and clickers at (stock suspension, no revalving/springing). I weigh in at 180 "ready to race". I played around at California City this weekend and got 25 clicks out on the forks and it still would not bottom out and 21 clicks out on the shock (compression) and it still would not bottom out. The thing is though, I really didn't notice any difference between 19 clicks out on the fork and 15 clicks out on the shock. This is my first KTM so I am still scratching my head wondering. Thanks for the help.

Check the suspension forum over at www.ktmtalk.com . I have the same bike and my problem is it is sprung way to soft. I have heavy springs on order. I go out at 200 lbs and would be curious to know what you come up with.
