looking for a new KTM200EXC in this area...

Recommended Posts

OK, I'm posting this for a buddy of mine. He has a nice tax return coming and would like to add to his fleet of motorcylces. He is looking for a new KTM200EXC, would like to find a carry over 04 model. If you guys have recomendations for a good dealer, PM me and I will relay all the info to him. If you have a super clean used one, that would work also. It must be Washington road plated, (doesn't have to be road legal) no exceptions.

Hi Rick,

I would call the guys up at High Gear Motorsports in Monroe. They know KTM's. I know they had some '04 200's, not sure what they have now. They also were issueing plates last year, not sure what their position is this year.

High Gear Motorsports

387 Butler Ave

Monroe, WA 98272

(360) 805-5140

Also, he should check out the TT for sale forum, and of course KTMtalk.com.

Good luck,

Ed

ps: also pm'd you.

There was a 2004 at Hinshaw's the last time I was down there. I would never buy a bike from them unless it was a leftover, that's the only way you'll get a deal out of them. I'm going down there to get some parts this morning, I'll let you know if it's still there.

They sold it already.

I would check highgear first as they will provide better support (and I'd pay a few extra $$ for that).

if they don't have a 200, motoplex has an 04 200 exc for $4500 and an 04 250 exc for $4800.

Try Hinshaw's in Kent (or is it Auburn), either way they will hook you up with what you need.

Hi, all. DRZ-400S rider from Kodiak, AK here. I'll have a week to burn next week and just purchased ferry tickets to/from Homer so I can do a solo trip on the mainland. I know it's a little late in the season, but does anyone have any suggestions for places I can go?
Some places I've looked at:  East End Road (Homer), Crown Point Mine Trail (Kenai Peninsula), Hatcher Pass, McCarthy/Kennicott Mine, Chicken, Denali Hwy, etc.
I know it's a little late in the season, so some of these areas may not work (McCarthy/Kennicott comes to mind).  It will be my first time riding a motorcycle on mainland Alaska since 1999-2000.  Any suggestions/advice are greatly appreciated!

Anyone know of any good shops that offer vapor blasting or water blasting or vapor honing. It's all the same thing just different names.
Looking to have some aluminum street bike frames done so need a place that can handle larger pieces.
Some where close to Seattle east side Tacoma that you might recommend.
I found the motoshed in queen Anne but they can't do larger items.
