Carbon on my rear fender

Recommended Posts

I have an 04' CRF250R with a 170 main, 42 pilot, 55 leak jet, red needle in 5th position from top, air screw is 2 1/4 turns out, and I live in Ohio which is just above sea level. The bike seems to run fine, but the carbon on the exhaust and rear fender has got me wondering if it's too rich? I was thinking about going with a 168 main, any ideas?

---or take 1 step at a time and turn the fuel screw inwards to 1 3/4, switch to clip position #4, and then consider clip position #3.
