H20 in swingarm

Recommended Posts

Yesterday I was installing a aluminum disc gaurd on my BRP and while I was there ,Thought I would regrease the tension adjusting bolts.

Took the one out on the left side and more then a cup of water pissed out on the shop floor,No wonder the bolts can seize in there....

I never use a pressure washer when I wash the bike,Just a regular spray nozzle, The water must come in thru the screw holes from the slider or

Well I fixed that water tank  I drilled a hole in the bottom, rite near the end.

I used 11/64th's drill bit....

The rite side had about a 1/4th of a cup of water come out when I drilled the hole....

Thought I would pass this on.......

This is a common thing on KTMs too from what I hear. No personal experience yet though. I just got mine and hit hasn't been through any water yet.

Hell.. I haven't even washed it yet. Stupid work and business trip.
