should i heat up the bike?

Recommended Posts

I'm gonna change my oil because I ran through some water and I messed it up for awhile. It smokes real bad white when it runs. But now that i'm going to change the oil to get the water out of the old oil, should I heat up the bike like normal? I dont feel like i should heat up the bike like normal to change the oil this time because I dont want the bad oil getting more in the engine. What do you guys think?

Drain the oil and change the filter, refill, run the bike to warm it up and change the oil and filter again. Oil and filters are cheap.
