Help with a decision

I can get a leftover 04 crf250 for 4800 or a 05 for 5700, I need help from any of you out there with the pro's and con's on both bikes. Thanks in advance

Go for the 04, there wasn't really that much difference between the 04 and the 05. You can use the extra 900.00 to pick up some extra blingbling. And try to get them to come down further on the 04. Good luck.

there are subtle but significant changes in the head, cylinder,cam and clutch to address some of the performance/reliability issues that make the 05 a lot more fun to ride and you would not have to buy any blingbling.

from what i've read the 05 is as fast or faster than a tricked out 04

i'd go for the 05

And where in the hell did you find a holdover 04. I fiqured those were all long gone

Dude this is a no brainer.Get the 05 it is worth the money.They made enough changes to make it more reliable.Even though my 04 has had no problems i would buy the 05.
