Pipe Fitting ?

UNCORKED MEANING ? REMOVING THE END GUTS AND RUNNING OPEN OR

CHANGING THE REAR PIECE TO A LESS RESTRICTED ONE ? IF SO WOULDN'T

IT BE TOO LOUD FOR NEW TIGHTASS CA. RULES ON DB LEVELS? :)

Answer is, pull the baffle and only the baffle out of the stock pipe.

Rejet like the Stickey says. You'll have more power and save yourself $300.

Took out the baffle this past weekend . What a difference so much more

power. Bike really feels like I gained a gear. Actually feels like a thumper now.

Is it nessassaryto rejet after removing the baffle? Someoe told me I needed to or the engine would run "hot" . lemme know thanks... :)

Removing the exhaust baffle only you do not need to rejet. If you remove the snorkel on the top of the airbox you will have to rejet. More air requires more fuel. If you remove the snorkel, I suggest you also get a high flow air filter as well, such as Twinair or Uni. Read the sticky at the top of this forum for rejet instructions.
