trail riding in utah

Recommended Posts

I will be moving to Utah soon (Hill AFB) and I was wondering about some of the trails near the boutiful Salt Lake City area. Any suggestions? I have been surfing the web and I have seen all kinds of trails but I'm not sure which ones are close to where I will be. I'm stoked about moving to Utah I have been riding in sugar sand (Florida) to long. Also, any websites I should checkout? Thanks for any help.

Mike

There are some trails near the "B" on the mountain east of Bountiful, and along the Skyline Drive to Farmington Canyon. There are also trails up north around the Brigham City area. And Knolls out in the west desert. Just to name a few.

Here are a few websites to get you started:

http://www.utahatvtrails.com/

I believe Rush66 (a TT member) created a Utah website, but I don't have it bookmarked.

If you get a chance ride with that Ruxton Noble www.ruxtonnoble.com fella. He is a very good rider. And can show you some amazing terain. I rode Moab with him. Very good time. He is from the Provo area. He is a forrest ranger or something. Vast knowledge on the trails in Utah.

Thanks for the info, by the way - nice name. I ride a YZF400, what a rocket! I am in Korea right now and haven't been able to ride much so I surf the net and read dirt bike mags. Thanks again.

Thanks a lot for all the info, I'll check it out. I'm in Korea right now and have 5 months left. I can't wait to get back and do some riding. How do you like the power of the CRF250? It's almost time to by my son a bigger bike and I'm a little torn between a 2 stroke 125 or a 4 stroke 250. He has a little bit more to grow yet. Thanks again for the sites.
