Question About Neutral Light?

Recommended Posts

Is it normal for the light to flash on real quick every time I switch from 1st to 2nd gear? It never bothered me much until tonight. I always ride in the day, so it is not that annoying, but tonight I rode at night, and that quick flash is very annoying. Is it normal? If not, how do I adjust it so it is not that sensitive? Thanks

Cut the wire... :) Sorry...I think it's normal but I guess I never paid much attention. It's an LED light I think so any adjustment would be pretty tough. You may find a smaller LED light but it's gonna get pretty involved I would think. You need to know where neutral is...that's for sure. Good luck. Maybe those with more knowledge than I will post with a solution. :)

Your shift pattern is

Weird, on my blue '04 DRZ S (non-CA) model it's:

:)

And why is the neutral light green when it's the only gear you can't "go" in? Wouldn't red be a better choice?
