Factory Tires or Too much time?

Recommended Posts

I had the flu and couldn't ride. However, I did have my new tires, so I decided to make my Michelins look like those kewl dunlops and bridgestones on the supercross circuit. Check out my garage and look under my tires. (I ride the DRZ400, not the 50 or 70, at least not when anyone is looking). This may only last for a ride or two, but what the heck. What do ya think? :) or :). If enough of you guys like it, I'll give my secret away.

Looks good. How did you do it, paint marker? make sure you tell us whether or not it stays for more than one ride. If it does I may have to try that.

No Paint Marker: here is the secret. Sharpie's now come in a variety of colors! Not just black anymore. My wife uses them for her photography business. Although they don't have the "factory yellow" they do have silver - which looks like a factory "raised white letter" on car tires. It has stayed on passed the first ride! (Some scratch marks).
