i know your all going to say "not again" but i don't think one like this has been done.

this is for hard numbers. it's only 7 questions so don't be throwing any fits.we all may learn something.

time of first valve adjustment?

how many total valve adustments?

what you have done to try and fix the problem, such as after market valves?

list what mods you have done to the bike, and do you think they brought on any problems?

knowing what you know now, would you still buy this bike? i know hard question to answer.

JUST THE FACTS:

Purchased new June '04

Sept = 527 miles, (50 hrs) valves chk/ok

Nov = 825 miles, (80 hrs) valves chk, new shim, left intake

Dec = 1255 miles, (120 hrs) valves chk/ok

Feb = 1500 miles, (150 hrs)

The miles are actual. The hours are an estimate.

carb/engine/exhaust = no mods

Adjusting valves is not a problem, it's a maintenance issue.

Listed them in the garage, but then the database crapped. ?

knowing what you know now, would you still buy this bike? i know hard question to answer:

What I know now is what I knew then and if I knew any better, I'd buy it.
