Off-Camber Turns

Recommended Posts

First let me make sure i understand what off camber turns are, thats when the high side of the turn is the inside and the low side of the turn is the outside (opposite of a berm) right? If I have my terms wrong well you know what I mean now. Anywho, whats the best way to tackle these? When I ride my woods practice trail, i dont leave 2nd gear and just trying to survive, so usually I go slow, put the inside foot down, and gas it until im pointed in the right direction. What is the best way (or your way) of tackling these?

You are correct. Lean the bike into the hill (uphill) and wieght the outside peg (downhill). Pulling up on the inside grip and down on the outside grip helps too.

I would be out there but it just snowed a ton. Plus my dad gets mad every time I ask if I can go ride, so I'm onna have to wait 'till spring.
