Atlanta SX - DMXS Charity Ride

Recommended Posts

Anyone going to the Atlanta SX should try to make this event, great event great cause!

FROM DMXS:

It's finally here. Our 2nd Annual DMXS Charity Ride for A/T. Last year we raised over $25,000 for this wondeful charity and we are going to blow that number out of the water. With the support of the industry and you our loyal group of riders we will make this happen. Ricky Carmichael, Ezra Lusk, Matt Walker, Shae Bentley, Eric Sorby, Branden Jesseman, David Pingree, David Bailey will all be on hand to sign autographs and donate their race gear to the auctions. Amateur MX is sending out Chuck Ball from California to cover the event, Racer X has Jason Weigandt, Davey Coombs, and David Pingree out to represent their mag, Speedvision will bring out BJ Smith to capture it all for TV. Steve Bruhn will be there to cover it for www.motonews.com . Scott Kandle and Steve Bauer from the Wonder Warthog program will be in attendance along with Scott Taylor (RC's man from Fox), Kristin Cheatwood from MAXXIS, and Ben Cheatwood from American Honda will all be here to support the event.

Ricky Carmichael is so pumped for this thing that he will talk about it at Thursdays press confrence, again on Friday and again on Saturday night at the race. Ezra Lusk will ride out during the pre race festivities on a YZ 250 with Ride 4 A/T graphics. He and RC will talk about the ride at that point. RC, Walker, and all of Team Motoworld will be running Ride 4 A/T on the backs of their pants. We cannot thank the industry, the riders and you enough for making this one of the largest motocross specific charities in the country in only its 2nd year.

Bring your bikes so you can ride on the prepped motocross tracks, bring your 50's so you can race the Redbull X games (freestyle, motocross, step up) and open your wallet and your hearts for these kids. You will see them, you will meet them and you will want to help them just like we do!

This all happens Sunday after the Atlanta Supercross beginning at 10am with riding. Autographs will begin around 12pm and the 50cc events will follow. The cost is $10 to get in the gate, $15 to ride your big bike, $20 to ride your 50's in the Redbull events. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Atlanta A/T Childrens Project. You can see all of the information and riders at www.ride4at.com . Hotel accommodations, directions and any other information can be found at www.bremenmx.com

Thanks to all of you who support this event!
