grips for longer rides ?

Recommended Posts

Ok so those sponge type grips does not look very cool but I bet they are a huge improvement on longer rides ? I did a 140 mile ride today and as usual my hands and behind felt the worst of all the body parts. So I'm thinking if the guys in the Dakar rally all run those grips they must help against vibration and fatigue. Any of you guys use those grips and what brand ? Much apreciated :)

I ride with a couple of older gentlemen that swear by them. on longer rides i get a bad case of monkey butt, my hands usually have gone numb and are blistered up.

These grips from Pro Grip are a good alternative too. They are a little thicker than standard so they absorb more vibration than most.

They might be a bit long for the DRZ throttle tube but can easily be trimmed back.
