Am I under 99db's?

Hello everyone. My question is that I've got a '99 wr400 with a FMF power core 4 exhaust and I need to be under the 99db to run in the BJEC enduro's. If i'm not over then i've got to be near the limit, wright? They let me run in the Red River enduro last fall but several people made comment about how loud it was, and it is, very loud. California has been posting ranger sound tests on their ohv website.

Don't know the link offhand, its a pdf file with a variety of

bikes and exhaust mods. Try google for California state ohv and surf around.

kawidual, thanks I found a web site that said I was at 100.4db, do you think thats close enough?

Hard to say, they might give you a margin over. I would contact

the sanctioning body or buy a insert or cap that puts you under.

Otherwise you might be turned away on race day tech insp. and be very unhappy.
