Jetting and needle position

Recommended Posts

I have a 1993 DR 250. Did the Vortex Airbox, 346cc big bore kit through Thumper Racing, oversized header and Supertrapp IDSE/2. Two questions: What should my jetting be? And what does needle positions do for the performance of your bike?

Thanks for the help.

You've got alot of custom things going on there to make your bike unique.

I like to do all my own work too but you might want to leave the carb work to a shop with a dyno to get the most out of the other work you've done.(they'll need a street tire on the rear wheel to get a proper dyno reading, the stock trailwing will do)

Mike.
