inexpensive plastic frame guards out there?

Anybody know of any inexpensive plastic frame guards out there? Have a tough time spending over $100 for the carbon fiber units. Seems like Acerbis makes plastic guards for every bike EXCEPT the DRZ. I am sctratching the S. out of the side frame with my boots.

No, but you can use clear adhesive backed vinyl like the stuff number plate backgrounds are made of. You can get it in sheets that are like 8x11 and cut pieces off to wrap around your frame. I've used it on my son's bikes and it works fairly well. I usually have to peel it off and replace it two or three times a year. But one sheet goes a long way when your just cutting off strips to fit your frame. I got it at a local mc shop.

Maier makes some in yellow or black.
