Foresthill Sat 4/9

Anyone heading up to FH on Sat? :naughty: I can't make the moonrocks trip, too far for me on that day, need to get my FH fix in before I leave Cali for Idaho. Hopefully it doesn't rain much Thursday so it won't be a muck fest.

:naughty: see you there

so what time is good, about 8ish?

could be , maybe all depends on how much rains thursday

Do you guys know what the conditions of the upper trails, loops 5 & 6 at FH are like right now? Are the rideable or buried in snow?

5 & 6 are snowed in.

I'm still planning to do loops 3 and 4 Sat. at whatever time I get there :naughty:

I'll be there at 8 am Sat. if Zekedawg's Chico invite falls thru.

Invite still stands, it is up to you to now. You just have to decide if you want to travel to a new spot or ride our local area.

lets do Chico. thanks PM me directions and times.or post it ...LETS DO IT>

Dawg :D

Take him on a good survival run..we'll all be grateful to you for life.. :naughty: Lifeflight type of run..Cash donations can be arranged.. :naughty: Just kidding Bob.. :D

We got one trail called MFer that we don't go down very often. I am thinking this just might be the weekend. I will run bob through some of the stuff we made last weekend and see what he thinks. I can say one thing for sure, you will like the scenery, all the new pwople to this area just love it. Directions are on the way.

picked up my rear wheel with my new Maxxis IT 140 tire mounted. The Wolf will be ready! for the chico hippee commie commune nature trail ride!

Not a chance bob, it will be hillbilly, white trash, red neck rock chucking allout assult on nature. It is a pitty but some people dump there trash in this place and leave shotgun shells all over. Last weekend we actually saw some guys dragging a boat up the road with there jeep cherokee and I saw the trailer sitting on a landing waiting for them to come back to get it. :naughty: I got their license number and If i find that boat dumped up there I am going to call the sheriff. For the cost of gas they could have disposed of the thing properly.

ok zeke just protect me form the banjo players.

so is your dog able to hang with boomer? if thats too much just say so. I would rather leave him home then put the two dogs together to be un happy.

I don't think there will be a problem. If there was while we were gone, my wife would just put Zeke inside. They never really got to meet last time as zeke was a little under the weather. I do think that Zeke would want to play and if boomer got tired or sore,Zeke would just keep pestering him so that is up to you. I know you said he was getting a bit arthritic. Zeke is no spring chicken anymore, but he still has some spunk in him, after all he spent the night in the desert, alone, in the snow and it really didn't phase him or slow him much. Your call. It won't put us out any.

Geez bob, we probably should just start a thread so you and I can talk uninterupted. Out of the last 11 post on this thread alone you and I account for 9 of them, well make that 10 as soon as I hit the reply button.

Maybe we should start an "Ignore" thread SW style :naughty: That way we could try to keep that actual BSing in the other threads to a minimum. We could call it Ignore Just Zeke and Morning Rider talking. :naughty::D

I'm still going to do FH, got to get my fix in, will be at the sugarpine staging area ready to ride by 8:30am, I will keep an eye out for you Dom, hopefully it didn't rain that much.

I'll try to be there by 9:00 :naughty: Depends if its dry enough to do my yard work Friday.. :D

May end up leaving for Shasta Friday night, so its still up in the air...If I don't make it, have a great ride.. :naughty:

have fun at FH guys

      Yo kids ,
we just did our annual run to blind Indian today and the other fun stuff the area has to offer , conditions were purely awsome after the storms last night, the #211 trail needs some activity , doesn't look like shes getting used too much , we kicked a bunch of rocks off ,broke some nasty dead branches , etc , still passable , the 1st uphill with switch backs has been storm washed exposing aggregate but thats not suck a bad deal ( traction was pretty good ) , she needs to see more riders ...put this on your agenda, grab some like minded trail hoppers and lets keep this trail fresh

Trying to buy an older yz125 w a green sticker. I came across a 2004 that is green sticker. Per the owner "CA used to do a lottery thing on a certain year and bike and it was the 04 125 that got the green sticker".
I am gonna confirm the VIN, but was wondering if it's in fact true that CA issued green stickers with a lottery system for 2003 and newer bikes?
I tried searching and couldn't find anything.
Thank you all for you advice.

I just picked up a 2018 YZ250X and need to do my break in. How gnarly is Rowher Flats after rains like we just had? I'm thinking about heading there Sunday. I moved to LA last year and I've only been there 3 or 4 times, but so far I enjoy the riding there more than most of the "day trip" locations.
Not the biggest fan of Hungry Valley, but I imagine HV is ok despite the rain this week.
Side note, how bad does the road in to RF get after weather like we just had?
