I need some advice on some basic suspension settings for my weight and size. I am 5'10 and I weigh about 190 lbs. I ride an '04 CRF250R and I have set the compression and rebound back to the stock settings on both the rear shock and the forks. I was at the track yesterday trying out some new settings and I just couldn't get it to where it felt good. I went about 3 clicks out (stiff) on both the rear and the forks and it felt a little better than stock. But I think it could be better... Do you guys have any suggestions. I am planning on having my suspension done soon but I want to get the best performance out of the stock stuff until then. I know I am a lot heavier than what the stock settings are setup for. Any help would be appreciated.
