weird - compression loss

I know its strange...just did not have any resistance through the kick..but it works fine and now has all kinds of resistance...don't know.... :naughty:


I had once the problem that in fall when we had high humidity i got rust on my valves. I know there is no rust on Ti valves possible, but maybe on the seats of the rings in the head. My WR400 had no compression but after starting it, the compression came back and everything worked great. It is only an idea that maybe one seat could be worn out. The valves are able to turn and so i could be possible that only one situation allows perfect fit and during running of the engine oil and temperature takes the work of sealing and giving a perfect fit. Just an idea.
