SFB clutch and ignition covers

Anyone here using them? Are they much stronger? How much weight difference?

Get the one from Rekluse. Same price and adds 150ml of tranny oil! I just got mine and it looks sweet. As far as weight diff, the stock one weighs about as much as a handful of feathers and the Rekluse feels about the same.

i've got a sfb clutch cover on my x after putting a hole in the oem cover with the rear brake lever!! don't mind the cost of a cover but not sure when the hole was made and did i lose all the oil at once or over time ???

anyway the covers are smart i went for the gunmetal grey colour,weigh's about the same and hoping it will be stronger as my bike likes to lay down quite alot after ejecting me up a tree.

With the added volume (size), would there be an increased chance of having your rear brake lever hit it and cause damage?

Not really. Plus, I removed my rear brake lever and used a grinder to grind off the inner two teeth on both the front and rear set of teeth. There is still plenty of grip but less chance to punch through. Round everything off real nice!
