throttle stop

hi all ive just joined the site, i would like to now how much should i cut of on my throttle stop on a 04 250wrf, thxs jon.....

hi jon were in the uk are u any were near manchester? welcome to thumper talk :naughty:

0.975" (24.765mm) or a stem length of 0.790" (20mm) in order to match the YZF's

I crudely cut down the original with a hacksaw to about 24.75mm and polished off the rough spots, then put back in. It worked just fine and has worked fine, since. Happy ridin'!

I just had this done on my '04 WR. The shop manager said they just take it out completely. Have fun, it's a wild animal without that stop!!

clearly the shop manager doesn't know the ill effects of leaving it out.

I 2nd the motion to put a throttle stop back in. If you do not want to cut the WR's down then just buy one from a YZF. Either way, put something in there.

cheers for the responce peeps, its all cut down now..
