BOOTS - Trail and MX

I am looking for a pair of dirt bike boots under $150. They will be used for trail riding and some mx tracks. I ride a Honda CRF230F. Any recomendations?

Go to a bike/accessory shop, check prices, try some on, then make your decision.

Nuttin' could be more fun than trying stuff on at the store. It's a toy store!

I have tried lots of lower end boots. The O'neal M10's are by far the best for the money in my opinion. They have the fit and feel of a much more expensive boot. Good luck.

You should be able to pick up a pair of Alpinestar Tech 4s for about $190 USD, if you look hard. That's what I did. Nice boot for serious trail riding, from a company with a reputation for quality.

Look at some on-line stores like Bobs Cycle, motosports outlet, Dennis Kirk, etc.

Most of them run closeouts on last years inventory. You can get some real good deals that way.

You should check out the boots at www.rockymountainmc.com. I think its called a.r.c. mx-220? They look really good with the pivoting ankle. $160.00. check it out.

These are both very good points. I ended up getting some SG 10's. I really love them. I really wanted tech 8's, but they didnt fit me very well. I am damn glad I went to a upper end boot. There really is a huge difference. ?
