Gotta love a machine that is purpose-built and actually gets used.

Did you fab up the racks yourself? Looks like you are using some mil-surp 20mm ammo cans for boxes.

That is the actual charcoal cannister. Some may confuse the small oil seperator on the left side of the frame as a char. cann.

Thanks martinfan30, that's what I suspected it was..

Mine didn't come with one of those on it and I bought it new from the dealer. All it had was the air pump and the small oil separator on the left side of the frame (the "char." cannister). Do all XR650Ls come with that same setup in the States?
