i agree mate. i rode an xr650r the other day and thought why did i buy a 600r ?? ?

I don't know about this.

I've owned a couple XR600's and now ride an XR650R. While I like the BRP, the XR600 is just so simple and sturdy that I think if I had to pick between them for one bike to own, ride, and maintain for the long term - I might go back to a 600. There's nothing the BRP can do that the XR600 can't - and the 600 is easier to work on, cheaper to maintain, and plenty durable.

well thats true but i ll admit that they are a bit more grunty and refined even.

i wouldnt sell my xr600 dont worry. but i have a soft spot for the 650r.
