My new bike

Recommended Posts

I purchased a new bike, it comes in the mail on Wednesday. I can't wait until it gets here. I made some room in the garage today. I'm glad it has a headlight since the day temps are creeping up over 110F. Here is a picture:

Jack,

Great choice for the twisty stuff. From what I have been told all of the top GNCC riders have 2 strokes. My friend is strongly recommending that I get a lighter bike, I just don't know if I should get an electric start 4 stroke or an easy starting 2 stroke.

Good to see that you will be riding soon. Are you replacing high speed BAJAs with trail riding?

Yeah, I'm going to slow it down a little and run some enduros and hare scrambles. I am still planning to run the Baja 1000 at the end of the year though. :D

BTW, Needsprayer, those trails I took you on when you came to Phoenix have been closed to motorized vehicles. You are lucky you got to ride them. ?

Shouldnt this be in the Orange forum?

Not really, maybe Honda should know that another die-hard red rider has jumped ship because they refuse to make a competitive bike that is reliable.

Nice bike, but suffers from Erectile Dysfunction, shove some Viagra up that tailpipe.

LOL, yep that silencer is a little pathetic looking. However, it is so quiet, you could ride the bike around the inside of a church without waking Needsprayer up. :D It is perfect for covert riding in limited access areas, not that I would ever do that. ?

It will be street legal and plated by the weekend. ?

:D

I spoke with a guy yesterday out riding his new 2005 300exc and I was very impressed with the bike and he was loving it. KTM makes some nice stuff and they come with the little goodies we all add to our Hondas. If I was going to go back to a 2 smoke the 300 is what I would get hands down. Have fun ??

I don't know anybody whose had a bad thing to say about the 300EXC. It's a super versatile bike for a 2 stroke, lots of fun, very relaible, inexpensive to maintain, and something I'd like to have ?

Sorry to hear that Pima/Dynamite is closed to motorized vehicles. That is a great riding area. There is a powerline road that goes to Tombstone that I have yet to explore. I've promised myself to get out there this summer and take some pictures even if I to go there with a quad riding friend.
