digitaldan   Posted June 30, 2005 Hi guys Well I fitted my lines today and if they perform as good as they look I'll be happy 🙂 I have a question though, the guy who made the lines made them a little longer meaning at the back before the line curves up it touches the swingarm brake line The brake line has a protective sleeve but is it possible that it would cause damage to the swingarm later on ? I honestly can't remember if the stock brake line were touching 🙂 Thanks
feyd   Posted June 30, 2005 zip tie a couple rubber grommets/sleeves over the ss line so it doesn't rub the on the swing arm.
10guy   Posted June 30, 2005 You can do that or just keep an eye on it for a bit and see if the plastic is starting to wear any. There should not be any significant movement in the line back there so I would guess it won't wear. You could also cut a chunk of old tube and wrap the line in that area with it. aspencop129   Posted June 30, 2005 I like 10guy's idea. Cut a small piece of fuel line and zip tie it over the line in that area. Then forget about it! 🙂
digitaldan   Posted July 1, 2005 Thanks guys I had some of those wrapping they use for cables lying around (the spiral ones) and used that around the brake line. I'll keep an eye on it.
