I'm brand new to tt. I just bought a crf250x and i'm looking for mods. I dont want to go so xtreme. the bike pretty nice now. All I really want to do is throw on a pipe(already purchased an FMF powercore 4 and want to know the right jetting combo for it)mostly i ride in the desert (california)

Sorry I can't help you with the jetting, but the biggest improvement for me, was tires, bars (different bend), and making sure everything is clean and probably greased/lubed. The first thing I'd do is grease all your pivot points. Another thing you can do, is have your suspension revalved.
