Petcock Alternatives

I want to get that crappy vaccuum fuel valve off my buddies 92 DR350SE... what are my alternatives? There is a valve from Pingel for $71, which also Jesse at Kientech sells for $72.95. Is there any other options out there?

Don't think I haven't been trying to research this... at my local suzuki dealership says a 03-05 WR450 petcock should work... and its only $19.80

The mounting bolts center to center are 1 3/8". Could someone measure the bolts on their DR petcock to see if this will work?

The bike has been converted to an offroad model... and I would like a on/off valve. The vaccuum type valve has not been stopping the fuel and if the floats mess up its letting gas get into the oil somehow.

The cheap (yet somewhat hokey) way would be to get one of those inline valves...splice it in between the tank petcock and the carb.
