good on board tool kit

Recommended Posts

Here is a sign of a good on board tool kit. I'm getting ready to leave to go have my bike dyno'd. I grab my spares kit with all the jets/needles etc in it. Even though I have a very good set of tools in my rig I still have to go grab my camelbak and take my tool kit I ride with. Why, because I know I can do everything but pull the rotor and split the case with what I have in it 🙂

i'm gonna get one of those small camelbaks to quench my thirst in the woods.... on the one i was looking at, the little pocket on it would be just enough to store what extra tools/supplies i need....

right now i use a small backpack, but it fits loosely and shifts around all the time, especially if i have a gatorade bottle in there

Camelback makes a 'mule' which is a full backpack with the water thing inside.

I use the mule myself. It has 100oz water bladder and room in the pockets for all my tools, a fairly substantial first aide kit, cell phone, gps, etc. and yet is not too big at all.
