tire size

Recommended Posts

I am considering the M12 for the rear of my bike, but they only seem to come in a 120 for an 18 inch. Is that too wide for an X? What I mean is, am I going to loose power? Is it worth it? Is it that much better than the Dunlop? Everyone seems to swear by them

Why do you guys thinks its crappy? I'm not putting up a fight, I'm just curious because this is my second M12 on my bike. The nubs get a little rounded off, but that tire seems to put up with ALOT of street abuse. I have to ride on a little pavement to get to where I'm riding. And the spot I ride at, I always do wheelies on the closed parking lots and such.

I swear @ the M12 rear. IMO, It doesn't hook up very well in anything.

It doesn't last long and there are alot better tires out there. Unless you're

riding in rocks, then the S12 rear M12 front is hard to beat.

I too am wondering about tire sizes on the X. I'm looking at the 120/90-18 D952. It's .28" larger and .3" wider than the 100/100-18 D756.

You all that have changed tires on the X, will this work?

I'm also thinking of changing the sprockets to 13F & 50R.
