How to get stickers off...

Recommended Posts

a new bike?

Just got a new (street) bike and the thing has these ridiculous warning and liability stickers all over it. Trying to get them off. The ones on plastic come off easy. The ones on the steel tank and aluminum frame (both painted) are a real bitch to get off.

Any suggestions???

(I'd like to sue all of the lawyers for this. But then I'd need a lawyer...)

Try heating them up with a heat gun or hairdryer. 🙂

I took them off my wife's bike with a pressure washer. It worked great and left no residue behind. Worth a shot any way. I've also used a heat gun on my own bike and this seems to work pretty well also.

start with a bottle of wine and romantic dinner...then a nice massage...

oh wait, nevermind....

I used a pressure washer to get a couple stickers removed off plastic. Not sure if it would work on the metal surface though. The residue will come off with some rubbing alcohol and a few paper towels...
