dirttracker_30 Posted July 11, 2005 Can a guy ride on the roads that go north and south from the trading post .like the one to almont and the one that goes around the north side of the res.without a plate and not get hassled.? They are paved ,but have a fs# designation on the topo maps. Thanks
Varget22 Posted July 11, 2005 A good general rule is if its paved you need a plate. You're most likely ok as far south as Almont but don't let the local sheriff see you doing a big fat wheely. You will find that in most small towns here in Colorado they don't care as long as you keep it cool. But if they catch you doing something stupid they will do their best to break it off in you. 🙂 North of the trading post should be ok as far as Aspen I would guess. There are some guys on the board that live in Gunnison that can probably tell you better.
