the forks are a direct bolt on with the proper rm clamps.

the carb is useless.

the front wheel, and front brake system fits as well.

yes,if you use the 2000 rm clamps.

but then you will need to get a aftermarket supermoto brake set up.

Yes take a look at my bike, Burneds bike, foxracing's bike, BonesGSXR's bike and I am sure there are a few others running RM forks...

Anyways if you look for a set of 01 - 03 RM125 or 04 - 05 RM125/250 forks (47mm showa USD) they will bolt right into your DRZ400SM triple clamps.

A nice bit from the RM is the rear brake rotor and caliper carrier.

Diameter is 20mm bigger :applause:

i mean changing to dirt i would use the rm250 brake set upwith the 250 rotors as switching to a smaller rotor with the sm forks is not possible (yet)

RM250 forks and triple clamps will fit like a glove.

I have personally seen 2 conversions done locally.

The RM250 forks has a shorter mounting post for the brake caliper.

Either use the RM250 front rotor with the fork (for dirt) or get a caliper relocating bracket to use an oversized rotor (for SM)

Rear brake setup will fit regardless SM or dirt

hey the guy above has rm 200o forks you said his would fit?/
1999 / 2000 RM forks are 49mm showa USD forks. They require 1999/2000 RM triple clamps to work.....

If you go with these models / years you can use your stock triple clamps.
