The best oil to use in your scoot is the one that you decide to run in it. You can do a search on here and get a million OP's on oil. Not trying to be a smart ass but you will get so many different answers to this.

Honda 450s are fine with car oil, because the tranny and engine oil is separate. So you can use car oil and tranny oil for two-strokes.

There Was A Fairly Large Article In Motocross Action I Think Last Month Explaining The Diff Between Oil For Motor And The Oil For The Clutch

It's fine. Rotella 0w40 is no good but the synthetic 5w40 and dino 15w50 are just fine.

I have been using it since day one with no problems with the clutch??? Of course I do change it quite often, oil is cheap.. I sometime abuse the clutch way to much..
