lvpg Posted July 13, 2005 Can anyone tell me if the Uni air filter is better than the stock foam? I could see the difference between the stock car/bike filters when using K&N for street use, but can't see any difference from the foam stock or Uni. Bike is strickly for dirt use. Desertskyy Posted July 13, 2005 Check out the Uni filter web site they may have an answer for you. I and just about everyone I ride with uses a Uni Filter.
lvpg Posted July 13, 2005 Thanks for the reply. I did check them out but couldn't find anything. The NO-TOIL site seems better as do their filters. No doubt UNI has the distribution. I've learned though, that doesn't always make them better.
not2fast Posted July 13, 2005 Twin Air makes a foam filter for the DR650. I bought one for my DR when i found the the stock unit was starting to come apart. The TwinAir is about the same price or less than the stock unit. Terry 99 DR650
