First sorry for the similar TT name! I miss my Ducati.

I had this problem and checked the cables, rerouted them etc.

Turned out it that the mixture was way misadjusted. As I recall it was too rich.

I think I'm at 12 or 13 clicks, stock needle.

Do a tt search for some baseline settings.
