Best way to break in a new pit bike from China?

New pit bike owner looking for any advice in breaking in my new bike. It is a 110 cc knock off bike. Yes from China. Do you run new oil?

Just want to make sure I do everything I can. Thanks!

there are a lot of different opinions on how to break in your bike on TT, some say to break it in how you plan on riding it, and some say to take it easy. Just make sure to change the oil right away!!!!!!

Agreed !! Good fresh oil is a must, other than that it's really up to the individual.

Break in for my other bikes pretty much means fire it up, let idle for a couple of minutes, crack it wide open for a minute, change oil and yer done.

Though, with my pitboss, i did let it warm up considerabley more, and the first few rides were pretty tame. After 15-20 minutes or so of actaul ride time, i changed the oil and considered it "run in".

I'd use that new Chevron Supreme mixed with 2% Soy Sauce

Seriously, who knows what sort of oil they use from the factory. I'd change the oil pronto.

Yeah I had heard that about the oil. I did run it twice with the oil that came in it, but yesterday I picked up some 10/40W at Cycle Gear and that is going in tomorrow.

Before I put it in would you guys recommend anyting different?

I use motul 10w40 on all my 50's

when i got my bike they told me they wernt aloud to ship oil from china 4 some reason but i dont know if they put crapy oil in the bikes in the U.S or they just lied to me about the shiping thing do any of u guys know

my bike from china came with oil aswell, i dunno if they put oil in i when the distributer got it or not, my retailer told me to take it a little easy for the first tank of fuel. dont just idle around for to long thouh as it can glaze the cylinder and teh rings wont seat properly.
