i love my anakees on my klr. very sticky, and still quite good in the dirt. alot better than i thought they would be, actually. we will see how they last.

I have trailwings on my DR. I know, most people don't like them. I got about 8500 miles on the rear tire and about 10500 on the front. They have yet to let me down in the curves! ? If you ask my hubby, he will tell you I take the curve too fast and too low sometimes. ? I have been on roads similar to the Dragon with no probs whatsoever. You are doing a good thing by researching. Good luck to you.

I get 8000 miles on Anakee rear on my DL1000 which puts lots more power to the pavement. I am going to try one of my used ones (150 70 17) on the DR650 to see if it will fit in a few weeks. It looks doubtful.
