250SXF exhaust

I put a deposit down on an 06' and it should be in this month and after the warranty's over i want an exhaust. Does anyone know what exhaust is best for it? (looks and power)

Pro circuit lowbow gp titanium, hands down,

i like my fmf megabomb but whatever suits u

the bills pipe thunder series is awsome it looks cool and it sounds really good and gives it a lot more power. ohh yea and its cheap i think around $500 for the whole system :D

are they going to make a DR.D system for the new sxf.

im pretty sure im getting a white bros carbon pro "2" because ive always loved white brothers exhausts and i need something under 100 DB, so unless anyone has anything better.....

i think im going to go with the fmf factory 4.1C exhaust, anyone know how loud that system is?

when i get my KTM250SXF i am probly going to the the FMF anodized factory 4.1 complete exhaust system :D ( 100th post woohoo bronze member :D:D )

Doesn't look like there's a clear-cut winner here...

Looks like we'll have to wait until more people get SXF's

Ramsey and Hansen and all the red bull KTM guys were using the Factory 4.1, and so was the canadian team that won the championship on the east coast. So if I were you I'd go with FMF.

Yes, but in no way do they run stock motors and FMF is a main sponsor of KTM... MXA says ProCircuit and Transworld was testing the FMF, either way you can't go wrong...

Good Luck.

Yeah I'm sure they are both good.

i'm giving the Bill's pipe a shot, heard good things about it and I got a good deal on one.

i have never had a 4 stroke b4 and im gettign a 250 sxf .... when u put a new pipe on (like fmf or some thing)... still need 2 rejet it like a 2 stroke ay ... .. but if i just put the muffler on it wont need 2 be rejestted ...is this true ... im only 16 so take it easy on me .. if im talking shit . :banghead:

Most mags say the FMF pipe is one of the best. But I do know that the White Bros carbon II wont be lower than 100 DB.Its lucky if its under 102.

Factory 4.1 Full Exhaust System. Gain up to 3 HP. :banghead:

I hear from the amateur riders(California, etc) Race teams...the new Doug Dubach for the money..fit and finish(good power and spread)..very comparable to Akropovic used in Europe and for supermoto here. I have to ? fit and finish of FMF and some other great commercial companys...save the $ and use it wisely. Remember FMF and Pro circuit make those pipes for the factory for those select riders..fit and finish..etc. My 2 cents. Good Luck....and I have been sponsored by FMF...still a good pipe but....

go with the 4.1 it gives it at least 4 horsepower. so the mags say.

im probly going to get the fmf just because i want to kinda replicate the red bull ktm, but if anyone has a picture of a red bull ktm with that exhaust, please post it. it can be anything

i have seen the prototype dr. D. wait for it to come out. definatly going to be worth it

I got about 6 months on my 350 xcf-w. I ride a lot of tight, rocky, rutty, slippery single track in South west PA. The only things I've added are suspension, bark busters, skid plate and disc protectors. I purchased a trail tech mapping switch but hesitant to add it as I heard the dealer needs to unlock the ECU and am not sure how much of a benefit it will be. I have a Scott steering dampner I'm going to add. I'm also looking at exhaust options for my riding conditions. What do you guys think about the items listed and what suggestions do you have?

The story begins with simple installation procedure of a BIG BORE kit that we ordered from USA . The manufacturer (CYLINDER WORKS) and the dealer send us the correct kit and so far so good ! .
The bike is a KTM 250 sx-f ,2011 model and bellow there are some photos for you, just to see how careful I am throughout the process .
.. .. .. .. I change the valve seals and the exhaust titanium valves and springs with the PROX steel kit and make a little polishing on the intake and exhaust
Put the cylinder-piston on and always with guidance from workshop manual and correct clamps...
Until now we where happy !!! We start the engine ,and everything seems to be ok!
Began to make the first ride and…… DISASTER !!!
The engine start bleeding OIL from the hose-tube !!!!!!!!! I thought its normal if it is one-two drops but unfortunately didn’t STOP .
We did one more ride to see what happens and still BLEEDING. Back to the WORKSHOP.

I am purchasing a 2012 KTM 350XCF after wanting one for a year and finally picking one up in December. My question is what are some good things to watch for on this bike as far as initial set up and good Mods to improve bike ? My plan is to add a skid plate, hand guards and muffler with the possibillity of changing the header pipe and a Rekluse EXP would be nice as we ride mostly single track mountain trails with some rocks . Any good thoughts and suggestions would be appretiated

      hi TT users
i have a flat 11 acre property 20 mins from my house. the property has a pond in the middle of it.
i am wanting to build an mx track on there, What equipment/excavators will i need to hire. how will i go about constructing the berms, whoops, table tops and jumps. And how can i keep out unwanted riders. How much dirt will i need?
i would be great if any ones knows track designers and cheap dirt and machine hires. (Dont have much $$ to spend so free or cheap dirt and equipment would be GREAT )
i am in Brisbane, qld, Australia. Any quarries i can phone to dump free dirt

Hey guys, i just picked up a used 2012 ktm 450 sxf to be my supermoto race bike next year. the bike seems pretty much stock but there is a connector on the left side of the steering stem that I am 99% sure couldnt be factory. Its a 4 pin connector, 2 wires in, 2 wires out(to the Estart switch on the bar). On the estart side of the connector there is a small jumper wire in the other 2 spots. I have found lots of info on adding the ignition map switch but i can't find anything about this connector or if it was factory. There is a small coil of wire just before the connector and the connectors appearance makes me think it was some aftermarket or home brew ignition map switch. This is a carb US 450sxf.
