Clutch noise on brand new 520EXC

My buddy just picked up his 520 EXC yesterday and wanted me to post a question for him.He says the clutch is rattly and when he pulls the lever in it goes away.As soon as he lets it out it's noisy again is this normal?Is this a break in and then goes away problem?That bike is SWEET!!!Sounds nasty as a mofo I just hope he dont kill himself on it I dont think he knows what he is in for.Do they make a seat belt for that thing ?
