I am real gun shy to point anyone to a particular trail. Every time I start pointing to a trail it goes to shit in short order. I am keeping my mouth shut from now on.

ok give us a little of what you like to ride, tight nasty technical, or wide open fast. whats your experience level, the experience of those you ride with and anything else. there is such a variety to pick from here that my favorite place might be your least favorite.

I should have mentioned that 3 of us are headed to Michigan for 3-4 days of riding and we want to ride perferably only single trak and the most technical the better. we would prefer to go to trails that you can ride 60-80 miles per day. even if we have to ride a really good trail twice. don't mind hitting some 2 track to connect single track. I am thinking lower penninsula but would consider U.P.

Wolverine, MI the Tomahawk trail system for the win. Nice techincal stuff with plenty of miles of riding. Plus there is Weber Lake campground right down the road.

If you want the ultimate technical riding in Michigan...Drummond Island aka "The Rock". If you do 60-80 miles in one day you would be God.

I rode the six days of michigan and drummond island was right up our alley. very good trails. are you better going to the upper penninsula? are the trails better?

As for the riding in Michigan.. I have only been lower Pen... Tomahawk trail is so far the best ride I have done.. during the CCC ride.. IMO One of the must hits..

yep tomahawk is nice the rock is sure fire monkey butt to the 10th power, and i still had a smile on my face when we left woo hoo. i think there are some other nice ones right down the road from drummon, again ask yzman. i think one is called cranberry hill or some stupid name for demon spawn or the like. if you realy want technical hehe ohh the talk to yzmans buddy joe, who from what i think i heard from yzman is the guy behind most of those trails you rode in the 6days. if you like what you saw then maybe he can point you in the right direction. he let us lay the first tracks on some of the trail you rode in the 6 days. it was more than my monkey butt i mean most mortals can handle hehe. sweet stuff in all.

now evart used to be the best technical trail in the LP, from what im told and from the few times i rode it, it seem that way. since last year however the quad guys have whooped and widen the shiznit out of it. there is still some realy nice stuff, but its just not the same old trail if you know what i mean.

you will have to ask the east siders about those trails over there as i cant afford the gas to go ride the dark side of the state hehe.
