cleaning flywheel magnets????

how do you clean the flywheel after a transmission blowout? i cant get all of the metal particles out after i lost 4th gear. i am trying to get everything as clean as possible and that is the only frustrating area. thanks

save yourself heartache and split the cases. the only true way to remove debris from a fourstroke is to visably make sure that it is all gone. pieces of metal from your fourth gear explosion could block oil pasages and or scar the piston or your head. since everything is linked in your thumper, pieces of shrapnel is liable to affect everthing.

i have done all that. last peice i need to get really clean is the flywheel.HOW??

Seeing you have replaced the fourth gear i wont start by saying "you gotta split the cases" cause you have obviously already done that to install the new gear and besides it's off your topic. But i can suggest wiping with a rag doused in fuel and compressed air to help blow the filings off and away from the magnetic force also wear eye protection.
