how stable is it with the bike up that high???

Chuck

IT'S SO STRONG YOU COULD DANCE THE JIG UP THERE.

The pic of a stand w/ the orange 400 EXc on it, was designed for the MXGP guys over here to allow them a very durable yet portable work stand for the factory scooters. It is super stable. The bike is held tight to the stand by springs which clip over the pegs and become tighter as the bike is raised up by the hydrolic foot pump. The lift hydrolic pump is designed for cars so the stand has a 350-500lb capacity (it is for race bikes, not Harleys). It's made of steel, so it does weigh approx 50-70 lbs. I have had mine for a year now and have absolutely no complains whatsoever, in fact next to my Scotts damper it's the best $$$ I've spent on a dirtbike product in years. You can get these stands shipped Stateside and tax-free from http://www.stephans-garage.de or from http://www.gp-racing.de

The scissor stand shown in the picture is made of steel, weighs approx 70 lbs and has an pneumatic pump to lift the bike to any level 12" to 4' off the ground. It is designed for use both at the track and in the garage. It is available through either Stephan'a Garage KTM (http://www.stephans-garage.de) or GP Racing (http://www.gp-racing.de) for approx $300 USD.

Hey Cappy,

I Love that stand. I did check with Stephan and the price is right, but the shipping was way too much. About $150.00.

Do you have any suggestion on how to get one here to the states cheaper?
