After one day of riding it became apparent that no adjustments to the stock suspension could accomodate my 250 lb. weight. So, after much research and discussion with suspension specialists, I sent my rear spring and front forks to White Brothers in Yorba Linda. They work with a long list of Pros in every sector of off-road racing to Supercross. Steve Searcy runs the suspension department and knew exactly what was needed due to the fact he has fixed many KTM's already. The fix is heavier springs with a complete revalve. After disassembling the components it was very obvious (to Steve Searcy at White Brothers) that one fork tube was either chromed over rust or just very poorly done. He indicated that in a very short time the finish would deteriorate and damage the seal. Steve spoke with KTM and WP, as the bike was two weeks old he felt they should be aware ofthe problem and send a new fork tube. KTM responded very quickly. In a week the suspension should be done at White Brothers and I will be able to respond to the forum with the exact work done Such as spring rates etc.
