What Did you pay for your DRZ400SM?

Just trying to get idea of what others paid for their new DRZ. I looking right now at one that's 8900cdn (7,478USD) all taxes and charges in.

Call S&V motorcycle they are somewhere around Vancouver like Surrey, I think they can get you one for around 7500$ plus taxe. I didn't buy there cause they couldn't take my KX in trade so I ended up buying one here on the Island for 7900$ less my trade it was 5700 after taxes.

$8900 otd seems pretty steep , you paying full retail plus freight ? saw one advertised here recently for $7200 + tx . This late in the season i would think you should be able to get a better deal .

$6000 OTD US. The salesman was sneaky and kept trying to charge me for all types of different things that he claimed were not estimated into the deal. Original deal was $6100 OTD with a helmet. Everytime he tried to charge me for BS stuff I would just walk away from the deal, I wanted the bike but I was in no rush to purchase one.Eventually got him down to $6000 and a $200 helmet which he tried to sell me on a $80 one.

$6500 CDN + taxes (with my choice of colors). Power Cycle out of Windsor (they even delivered it to my work for an extra $50 - I'm 3 hours away).

They said they deliver all the time.

hmmm... well list price in cdn is 8199 with all taxes etc... it brings it up to 9500. How much did everyone pay for tax, freight etc?

At 8900 taxes it at face value it looks like i'm paying 600 under list but i could be wrong....

Paid $4969 +tax and Lic. for 2006 DRZ-400S. Came out to $5495 OTD.

I paid $3500 for a used 2003 S. I figure I can pay $1200 for a new set of SM wheels and have the best of both worlds and save a few bucks. Just food for thought.

I paid $8600CDN taxes in OTD. First bike in the shop back when they first came in. I actually stood there and watched the mech put it together.

They lopped ~1k off the top at the time was amazing but last time I was in they were around $7200 sticker on the bikes. They said they had sold a few but not as many as they thought they would have.
