wolfman1 Posted September 19, 2005 Well, I finally installed new fork springs in my 'X', but I'm cofused about how much oil to put in. I have the service manual, and on page 1-9 it says 11.7 ounces in the fork, and another 6.5 ounces in the damper. Is this correct? I did not drain anywhere near that amount from the forks when I took them apart. The owners manual doesn't mention adding anything to the damper, but the service manual does! HELP!! Throttlejockey Posted September 19, 2005 If you didn't take the inner chamber apart you only have to add outer fork oil. 11.7 ounces in the outer chamber after draining.
